For this recipe, we’re going to use it in this creamy cheese sauce.

This is the recipe for your next salad.

You can also use this recipe to make a garlic-laden bread or crackers, or even a homemade garlic-filled cheese sauce!

It’s a simple recipe that can easily be adapted to any cheese or salad.


1 cup olive oil, room temperature 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 onion, diced 1 bell pepper, diced 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped 1 bunch of parsley, finely grated 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil 2 tablespoons minced fresh thyme 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper 2 tablespoons salt and freshly ground pepper 1/2 cup frozen or fresh tomatoes, thawed 1/4 cup fresh spinach, thawed 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, coarsely grated or shredded (see note) 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice Directions Place the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.

Add the garlic cloves and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft, about 3 minutes.

Remove from the heat.

Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in another nonstick pan over medium-high heat.

Remove the onion from the oven and add to the pan.

Stir in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 5 minutes.

Add in the tomato, parsley and thyme.

Season with salt and pepper.

Season again with salt.

Add a tablespoon of the Parmesan to the onion mixture, then cook, tossing frequently, for 2 to 3 minutes, until the onions are soft and the garlic is fragrant.

Season to taste with salt, pepper, and fresh ground black.

Pour the sauce over the vegetables, then toss to coat thoroughly.

Serve hot.

Notes The recipe calls for one cup of olive oil.

I used 1/3 cup, but you can substitute 1/8 cup or 1 tablespoon of olive or vegetable oil for the 1/5 cup.
